Whether you are planning a large or small festive gathering this Christmas, Murray Edwards College has the flexibility to cater for both, with the added benefits of on-site parking and overnight accommodation for guests.
The Dome Dining Room can accommodate 140 cabaret-style on round tables or 210 banquet-style – or even larger numbers if you are not having a disco or dancing.
It’s a self-contained space where you can host your whole event – drinks reception, dining and dancing and offers a definite ‘wow’ factor when decorated for the Christmas season thanks to the spectacular domed ceiling.
For smaller parties, there’s the Fellows’ Dining Room for drinks receptions and post-dinner coffee. It can seat 40 cabaret-style and 70 banquet-style.
This year the Christmas package is £49 + VAT which includes arrival reception drink, three course meal, tea, coffee and mince pie, linen tablecloths and napkins, Christmas crackers and dining room decorated in Christmas theme.
Chris Pope, general manager of Conferences, Catering and Residences said: “Our Christmas package delivers everything you need for a party, but it offers scope to build on too.
“This means it is competitively priced for those who are budget-sensitive but there are additional options available, such as adding canapes to the drinks reception or upgrading the wines or reception drink.”
